Information we collect
We do not collect any data about you, the user. All of your health data is stored on your device and is never exported or shared without your permission.
The only time data is shared is if you share an activity using the App. This data is shared with whomever you choose and is not collected by Bean’s Bytes, LLC.
All notifications from Pine are considered “local notifications” which means no information is ever sent to your device. All notifications are generated by the application. This means there is no server with any kind of data about yours owned or operated by Bean's Bytes, LLC or Pine.
If you enable notifications, we will never use notifications for marketing.
Pine attempts to gain your Health information from your device. This is obtained via a prompt when you open Pine for the first time. Pine will never export any of this data without your explicit permission.
If you choose not to share your Health data with Pine, it will fall back to use the devices pedometer for steps and distance reporting. Again. Pine will never export any of this data without your explicit permission.
Pine uses your location to track the distance travelled while completing an outdoor activity. This data and the specific locations your travel to while completing an activity is stored in the app and sent to Health, if you enanabled permissions.
